E-mail scam tries to fool PayPal users Scammers are targeting eBay and Pay Pal once again. Many Pay Pal customers have recently received forged emails, supposedly originating from eBay and Pay Pal, that encourage them to disclose sensitive information. The emails are forged and instead are sent by scammers trying to steal users' private information.
