StoreSense Makes Sense For Small Business
[2003-04-11] According to research from IDC, there are approximately 5.7 million
small and medium-size businesses connected to the Internet, but only a fraction
of these organizations are conducting full-fledged e-business over the Web. Kurant,

scales in favor of smaller e-business initiatives.
Judge
refuses to dismiss Siebel suit
[2003-04-11] A federal judge on Thursday declined to dismiss a lawsuit alleging
that software maker Siebel Systems overstated its earnings by concealing stock
options granted to its founder and chief executive. The judge in San Mateo, Calif.,
set an Oct. 6 trial date for the lawsuit against Siebel, filed last year by the
Teachers' Retirement System of Louisiana, which had invested in Siebel stock.

'Thriving' as Quarterly Earnings Top Forecasts
[2003-04-11] Yahoo's results, released after the markets closed, drove its shares
up 4% to $23.70 in after-hours trading. Its shares have more than doubled since
October. Yahoo on Wednesday reported quarterly results that breezed past analysts'
expectations -- further indication that it is turning around despite a weak economy.

deal.
